Position Overview

The Class A CDL Driver plays a crucial role in enhancing sales and ensuring the effective distribution of products to fulfill customer requirements. This position involves loading and unloading goods from the vehicle while confirming the accuracy of shipments against delivery documents.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday

Drivers assigned to specific routes can expect to earn between $55,000 - $75,000.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Enhance sales and distribution of all products within each designated account by utilizing established sales techniques.
  2. Ensure that all products are displayed and handled in an efficient and effective manner.
  3. Accurately complete all route-related administrative tasks.
  4. Operate all company vehicles safely, courteously, and in compliance with traffic laws and safety protocols.
  5. Exhibit strong customer service capabilities.
  6. Adhere to all policies and procedures of Atlanta Beverage Co, actively supporting the company’s mission and vision.
  7. Perform any additional duties as assigned to maintain an efficient workflow.

Qualifications and Skills

  1. High school diploma is mandatory.
  2. Must possess a clean driving record for the past three years.
  3. Valid Class A CDL is required.
  4. Ability to read, count, and perform basic mathematical calculations accurately.
  5. Capable of understanding simple instructions, brief correspondence, and memos.
  6. Must work independently, demonstrating sound judgment and initiative.
  7. Able to address issues with multiple solutions in standard situations.

Physical Requirements

  1. Regularly lift items over 70 pounds and maneuver a loaded hand truck (approximately 200 lbs).
  2. Ability to navigate around large trucks, including reaching, pulling, twisting, bending, and stooping to enter and exit the cab.
  3. Must be able to raise and lower bay doors for loading and unloading products.
  4. Extensive walking in and out of accounts and riding in a vehicle is essential.
  5. Specific vision capabilities required for this role include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
