Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Director to join our team at Pegasus Senior Living. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, maintaining a safe and clean environment for our residents, and overseeing the maintenance of all mechanical equipment and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the maintenance of all facilities, including routine and preventative maintenance, to ensure a safe and clean environment for residents.
- Manage and maintain all mechanical equipment and systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Develop and implement cost-effective maintenance budgets and strategies to reduce expenses.
- Collaborate with vendors and group purchasing organizations to negotiate the best possible prices for maintenance services and supplies.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant state and federal regulations, including those related to safety and environmental standards.
- Develop and implement quality assurance controls to ensure that all maintenance activities meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Provide training and guidance to maintenance staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in facilities management or a related field.
- Knowledge of facility maintenance and repairs, including electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, locksmith, painting, and other general repairs.
- Experience with TELS (Total Equipment Life Cycle System) preferred.
- Experience in senior living communities preferred.
- Knowledge of state regulations and budgeting procedures.
- HVAC certification preferred.
