About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) team at Research Medical Center. As a PACU Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and support to patients recovering from surgery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments of post-operative patients and monitor vital signs and levels of consciousness.
  • Administer medications and perform post-operative tasks, such as changing bandages and providing wound care.
  • Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families, incorporating patient-centered care principles.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and transitions.
Requirements
  • Current state of Missouri RN licensure required.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • BLS and ACLS certification required and maintained.
  • Prior medical-surgical experience preferred.
