Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Quality Specialist to join our team. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our extruded products through rigorous testing and inspection.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain quality control specifications by testing finished products.
  • Test raw materials for quality, density, and flow to ensure optimal production processes.
  • Calculate and record target weights, actual weights, and theoretical weights of finished products produced daily.
  • Produce daily production reports to track inventory and meet customer needs.
  • Check samples of pipe produced for quality control purposes.
  • Conduct color inventory weekly to ensure timely production needs.
  • Perform ash tests, burst tests, and tensile tests to evaluate product strength.
  • Communicate test results to supervisors to inform production adjustments.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role with a focus on quality control.
  • Excellent mathematical skills, including ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide, and take measurements.
  • Able to operate a forklift and use necessary equipment for quality control testing.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Outlook for email communication.
  • Strong organization and time management skills, with ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in reporting and documentation.
  • Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English fluently.
