Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Float Pool team at CommonSpirit Health Mountain Region. As a Float Pool Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in various units and departments across our system, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in a variety of settings, including medical-surgical, critical care, and emergency departments.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of evidence-based practice guidelines.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Assume responsibility for maintaining a safe and efficient work environment, adhering to regulatory requirements and hospital policies.
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Colorado or participating state in the National Licensure Compact.
  • Nursing diploma or associate's degree in nursing required; bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Minimum 12 months of experience in a relevant unit type or specialty area.
