Position Overview:
NovaCare Rehabilitation is in search of a dedicated Full-Time Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) to join our esteemed team.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled athletic trainer to collaborate with a prominent university's Athletic Department.

Sport Responsibilities:
Primary focus on Volleyball & Tennis.

This role presents an exceptional opportunity to engage in a Division I environment, supported by a remarkable Sports Medicine Team comprising 14 Athletic Trainers, 2 Sports Physical Therapists, and a Sports Medicine Physician, all available to ensure your success.

No clinical responsibilities involved.

Compensation Package:
Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience, starting from $50,000 to $58,000 annually.

Work Schedule:
Standard collegiate athletic training hours.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide patient care under the guidance of a licensed physician.
- Participate in the Athletic Training Services program, including coverage of athletic events and practices.
- Develop and implement tailored therapeutic programs for the rehabilitation of injured athletes.


- Assess the need for and apply appropriate athletic training techniques before and during games/practices to minimize injury risk.

Techniques may include taping, wrapping, bracing, ensuring proper hydration, and administering minor wound care.


- Evaluate the effectiveness of athletic training and rehabilitation methods, documenting changes based on athlete responses within the established care plan.

Maintain effective communication to guarantee optimal care within the sports medicine team.


- Responsibly manage emergency situations, coordinating EMS and acute care procedures, including basic life support, to mitigate the impact of injuries on athletes.

Seek outreach opportunities and engage in events to enhance company visibility (such as races, club teams, etc.).

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree is required; a Master’s Degree is preferred.
- Certification from the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA).
- Current Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
- Applicable state licensure as required.
