At Farm Bureau Financial Services, we're looking for a Property Claims Representative to investigate, evaluate, negotiate and settle assigned claims involving property lines of insurance coverage.
This is an opportunity to work in the Altamont, KS area, where you'll be responsible for determining whether losses are covered and if Farm Bureau should pay the claim.
You'll also determine the value of the loss and assist in setting reasonable reserves. As a Property Claims Representative, you must maintain professional and productive relationships with coworkers, supervisors, agents, agency managers, claimants, policyholders, engineers, restoration specialists, general contractors, attorneys, and others.
The ideal candidate will have high attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a good work ethic. You'll need exceptional customer service skills, including strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong computer skills to quickly learn our multiple systems.
