Job Overview

The New E3 School is a state-of-the-art educational institution that sets the standard of excellence in early education across Virginia. We are seeking a highly qualified Toddler Co-Teacher to join our team and provide a high-quality early learning environment for all children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create a stimulating and engaging classroom atmosphere that fosters conversation, exploration, and discovery.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and high-quality learning environment that promotes academic excellence.
  • Develop and implement daily STREAM activities that engage children in learning and promote cognitive development.
  • Establish strong teacher-child interactions that promote social-emotional growth and development.
  • Utilize Banking Time to build strong relationships with children and their families.
  • Follow established routines, curriculum activities, and classroom setup to ensure a smooth and efficient learning environment.
  • Facilitate learning and move around the classroom to provide individualized attention and support.
  • Implement the Streamin3 curriculum and utilize tools every day to promote academic excellence.
  • Provide individualized, small group, and differentiated instruction to meet the needs of all children.
  • Complete formative assessments on every child to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Maintain a portfolio for each child to showcase growth and development.
  • Communicate effectively with parents about their child's development and progress.
  • Develop a strong relationship with families built on trust and respect.
  • Participate in professional development and monitor progress to improve classroom quality and interactions.
  • Ensure compliance with licensing regulations and maintain a safe and healthy learning environment.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of child development and early childhood education.
  • Enthusiasm and passion for teaching young children.
  • Experience and degree in early childhood education.
  • Effective communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
  • Desire to be innovative and continuously improve teaching and learning.
  • Able to play, have fun, and share a passion for learning.
  • Respect for diversity and equity.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and professionalism.
