About the RoleThe successful candidate will have a strong clinical background in telemetry nursing, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a related clinical setting. A Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited program is required, along with current RN licensure in the state of Florida. BLS and ACLS certifications are also mandatory.
This per diem role offers a flexible schedule, ideal for compassionate and dedicated nursing professionals who thrive on providing patient-centered care. You will be responsible for monitoring patients' vital signs, assessing their conditions, and coordinating with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Patient Monitoring: Continuously observe and assess patient vital signs related to cardiovascular and respiratory functions. Identify any changes in patient conditions and respond promptly to emergencies.
- Care Coordination: Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams regarding patient treatment plans and updates. Document all care administered and patient responses in electronic health records efficiently.
- Patient Education: Provide education to patients and families regarding disease processes, treatment options, and health maintenance. Facilitate and encourage patients' understanding of their rights and health management strategies.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited program.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in telemetry nursing or a related clinical setting.
- Skills: Excellent clinical assessment and critical thinking skills. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to work effectively with a diverse patient population. Familiarity with electronic health records and patient care technologies.
