Job Description for Swimming Pool Service Technician

Midwest Pool Management is looking for a trustworthy and reliable Swimming Pool Service Technician to service and maintain our client's pools in and around the Kansas City area.

This seasonal position requires the individual to drive to pool locations, test chemicals, add chemicals as needed, and troubleshoot any issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Driving to pool locations and performing routine maintenance tasks.
  2. Maintaining equipment and chemical stock at pool locations.
  3. Testing swimming pool water and making adjustments as necessary.
  4. Cleaning swimming pools using authorized equipment.
  5. Backwashing all pool filters and reporting faulty equipment to management.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 16 years or older.
  • Able to lift heavy equipment of 50 lbs. or more.
  • Ability to work in harsh weather conditions.
  • Maintain a professional appearance.
  • RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION.
  • Working and reliable cell phone with a camera and photo receiving/sending capabilities.
  • Ability to follow GPS maps.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Available during the summer, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Salary: $15-$18 per hour, estimated annual salary $31,200 - $37,440, depending on experience.
