Job Summary

Focused Staffing is seeking a dedicated and experienced Special Education and Case Manager to join our team. As a Special Education and Case Manager, you will play a vital role in providing support and instruction to students with special needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide special education instruction and support to students in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with teachers and colleagues to develop and implement educational plans
  • Teach and support students in a variety of settings, including pull-out and inclusion classrooms
  • Design and implement transition services for students aged 13.5 and older
  • Assist with the administration of annual academic testing and develop IEPs
  • Generate documentation and reports on student progress
Professional Development
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
  • Assist in the creation and delivery of professional development workshops for colleagues
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in special education teaching in an urban public school setting
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
  • Concentration or advanced degree in area of specialization preferred
  • Spanish speakers and persons of color are encouraged to apply
  • Commitment to the classical mission of the school
Work Environment

This is a full-time position with a competitive salary range of $50.00 - $55.00 per hour and 37.5 – 40 hours of work per week. The schedule is Monday to Friday, day shift.

Education: Bachelor's degree required. Experience: 2 years of special education teaching experience required. License/Certification: Special Education Certification required.
