Quality Control Supervisor

As a pivotal member of the Quality Department, you will oversee a team dedicated to ensuring the highest standards of quality in our operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Champion the Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality culture within the department by consistently communicating and enforcing company policies and procedures.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor Quality Analysts, conducting evaluations and providing constructive feedback to foster their professional growth.
  • Coordinate laboratory coverage to meet operational demands through effective communication with process leaders and scheduling.
  • Maintain laboratory instruments and equipment through diligent contractor management and collaboration with maintenance teams.
  • Ensure that standard operating procedures reflect current laboratory practices by managing departmental documentation.
  • Monitor laboratory reporting accuracy by analyzing data trends, addressing discrepancies, and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Assist in resolving customer service complaints by overseeing special tests and investigations.
  • Oversee the Quality clearance process for shipping, generate Certificates of Analysis, and manage laboratory supply orders.
Qualifications:
  • Degree in chemistry or related scientific field preferred.
  • Strong commitment to safety for yourself and your team.
  • Proven leadership and teamwork skills.
  • Familiarity with production processes and organizational structures to effectively communicate with relevant personnel.
  • Ability to troubleshoot instrumentation issues.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong written, mathematical, and analytical skills.
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in a laboratory setting is required.
