Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular and preventive maintenance on production machinery, ensuring optimal functionality.
- Identify and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic problems, implementing timely solutions.
- Repair and maintain various types of equipment, including conveyors, motors, and sensors.
- Perform inspections to detect potential equipment issues and mitigate risks of unexpected failures.
- Work closely with production personnel to ensure safe and efficient operation of machinery.
- Keep detailed records of maintenance tasks, including work orders and inventory management.
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures while executing maintenance duties.
- Engage in continuous improvement efforts to enhance equipment reliability and performance.
- Address urgent maintenance requests as they arise during the shift.
- Assist in the installation and modification of equipment when necessary.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or an associate degree in a relevant field is preferred.
- At least 2-3 years of experience in a maintenance role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and schematics.
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic instruments.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting.
- Willingness to work second shift and overtime as needed.
