Make a Difference in Mental Health

Acenda Integrated Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Emergency Psychiatric Screener to join our team in Washington Township, New Jersey. As a key member of our Psychiatric and Residential Services team, you will play a vital role in providing emergency/mental health assessments to patients in need of crisis stabilization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments to determine the level of care required for patients in crisis.
  • Develop and implement alternative treatment plans to support patients in need of stabilization.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists and emergency room doctors to ensure effective client disposition.
  • Provide assessment and disposition planning for patients with drug and alcohol involvement.
  • Complete necessary documentation, including Authorization for Police Transport forms and Screening Documents.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, plus two years of mental health experience, including one year in a crisis setting, and current enrollment in a Master's program.
  • Registered professional nurse with three years of mental health experience, including one year in a crisis setting.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
