Responsibilities
Position Summary: The Nurse Practitioner will play a vital role in a collaborative, patient-focused primary care setting. This position involves delivering care to both insured and uninsured patients, with a focus on overcoming barriers related to income, language, and cultural differences. Flexibility in scheduling and participation in an on-call rotation with fellow providers is essential. The Nurse Practitioner will report directly to the Director of Rural Clinics.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Nursing
  • Current RN, NP, BLS, and DEA certifications
  • Active California RN license or temporary California RN license, and Nurse Practitioner licensure in good standing
  • National Nurse Practitioner Certification from AANP or ANCC
  • Prescribing and Dispensing Authority in compliance with California regulations
  • National Provider Identifier (NPI) number and satisfactory report from the National Practitioner Data Bank

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum of one year of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in an outpatient or community health setting
  • Proficiency in Spanish is highly valued
  • ACLS certification is preferred

Compensation
Hourly Rate: $84.58
