Meaningful Work From Day One

Perform comprehensive and preventive upkeep and repair of all manufacturing machinery, systems, and facilities. Assist in the installation of new equipment and machinery, as well as in the enhancement and redesign of facilities, providing valuable insights on new machinery and facility improvements. Be prepared to work overtime, including on-call weekend shifts, and across various shifts as necessary to ensure uninterrupted operations.

What You Can Expect

• Diagnose and fix mechanical and electrical systems along with manufacturing equipment such as motors, pumps, conveyor systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics.

• Utilize a work order system to monitor maintenance activities, helping to identify replacement schedules and manage workflow and efficiency.

• Address equipment malfunctions by analyzing discrepancies, determining required repair parts, and coordinating purchases with the Maintenance Supervisor.

• Identify and rectify electrical issues.

• Troubleshoot, recognize, and resolve problems with electrical motor control systems.

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair automated packaging systems, including conveyors, palletizers, de-palletizers, and labeling machines.

• Oversee and repair facility systems, including compressed air, boiler, and fire suppression systems.

• Detect and resolve issues within grain handling, mashing, and distillation systems.

• Provide preventive maintenance and problem-solving for barrel handling equipment, as well as general upkeep for all air-handling units.

• Collaborate with fellow maintenance team members to ensure all repairs and projects are completed on schedule and within budget.

• Keep a tidy and organized spare parts storage area.

What You Bring to the Table

• An Associate's Degree or equivalent vocational training or work experience.

• Proven experience with both single and three-phase electrical systems.

• Proficiency in basic mechanical and electrical terminology, equipment characteristics, and facility maintenance concepts.

• Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.

• Strong technical aptitude.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to navigate through problem resolution.

• Capability to sit, stand, walk, stoop, reach, balance, kneel, crouch, crawl, grasp, and climb stairs/ladders. Ability to push/pull up to 50 pounds frequently and lift/carry up to 70 pounds occasionally.

• Must pass drug & alcohol screening, physical abilities test, and other required assessments.

• Ability to foresee potential obstacles and issues that could impede a job.

• Strong attention to detail and effective time management skills.

• Willingness to work on-call weekend shifts as scheduled.
