Job Summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Telemetry Renal position at Rapides Regional Medical Center is a dynamic opportunity for a dedicated healthcare professional to deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing lab tests, and documenting patient information.
  • Collaborate with the Registered Nurse (RN) and other members of the care team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Assist with procedures, monitoring, and other functions as directed by the RN.
  • Perform lab and procedural tests within the LPN scope of practice, after demonstrating competency.
  • Document patient care in the medical record in a timely and thorough manner.

Requirements

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) licensure in the state of Louisiana.
  • Vocational School Graduate.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) or CPR for Healthcare Providers certification within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Shift: Nights, rotating weekends.
