**Job Summary**

MUSC is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team in the Department of Radiology. As a Computed Tomography Technologist, you will be responsible for utilizing advanced imaging technology to produce high-quality CT scans for interpretation by a physician.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
  • Position patients for optimal image capture and minimize radiation exposure
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information and imaging results
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with advances in CT technology and imaging techniques

**Requirements:**

  • Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology or completion of a student clinical rotation with ARRT certification
  • Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and licensure from the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
