Job Overview

As a Survey Crew Chief with JARBO, you will be responsible for leading a team of surveyors in collecting and analyzing data to support land development projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical expertise to internal and external clients, ensuring accurate and efficient data collection and analysis.
  • Collect and process construction staking, boundary, ALTA, and topographic surveying data, utilizing GPS, total stations, and data collectors.
  • Operate in a crew of two people, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Transfer files between data collectors and internal company project folders, maintaining data integrity and security.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, with 1-10+ years of surveying experience.
  • Proficiency in operating robotic total stations and GPS in static and RTK modes.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving history, with ability to operate a motor vehicle.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
  • Basic computer skills, with proficiency in office software.
  • Boundary and topographic data collection specialties a plus.
