Job Title: Registered Nurse Home Health-PRN

Right at Home Birmingham is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a PRN (as needed) Home Health Nurse. As a Registered Nurse with Right at Home, you will have the opportunity to provide high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals in the comfort of their own homes.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to provide skilled nursing care to our patients in the Birmingham area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in home health care, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform comprehensive assessments of patients to identify their physical, emotional, and social needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Provide skilled nursing interventions, including wound care, IV infusion, and re-certifications.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers to ensure understanding and compliance with care plans.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with one year of clinical experience within the past five years.
  • Current State RN license.
  • Knowledge and ability to provide skilled nursing care as defined in the State Nurse Practice Act.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Available for work on weekends and holidays as required.
  • Meets current health requirements to provide patient care.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and have use of an insured automobile or access to adequate transportation for the job.
