Job Summary

Farrelli's Pizza is seeking a skilled and charismatic Bartender to join our team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for ensuring our guests have an exceptional experience at our establishment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome each guest personally using enthusiastic words, tone, and body language.
  • Make guests feel appreciated and valued.
  • Work as a team with all personnel to maintain an effective atmosphere and efficient food and beverage service.
  • Work with others to keep all areas clean and stocked to company standards.
  • Mix, garnish, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks for patrons of the bar and dining room following standard recipes.
  • Input orders into computer immediately, collect money from guests, make correct change, and provide receipts.
  • Clean and arrange bottles and glasses to maintain an attractive display.
  • Wash and sterilize stemware.
  • Anticipate guests' needs and follow the half-full rule when offering another drink; remain alert of guests' signals and acknowledge signals.
  • Check identification of guests who are consuming alcoholic beverages; refuse alcohol service to guests who are not of legal age.
  • Responsibly serve alcohol and remain aware of guests' state of intoxication.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Be of legal age to serve alcohol.
  • Possess state applicable health and/or alcohol compliance card.
  • Basic mathematical skills and an ability to handle money and give correct change is required.
  • Possess basic reading and computer skills.
  • Possess basic knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits, and familiarity with standard drink recipes.
  • Must have excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Must be multi-task oriented.
  • Possess knowledge of company's food and beverage specifications and workplace safety procedures.
  • Must have reasonable availability keeping in mind that most of the restaurant business is on nights and weekends.

While performing the functions of this job, a team member must walk, stand, or remain stationary during the entire shift. Team members must be able to continuously reach, bend, lift, carry, stoop, and wipe with the potential for slipping or tripping. Team members must frequently wash their hands and lift and/or move up to 55 pounds.

Salary Information

The salary for this position is $16.28 per hour.
