We are seeking a skilled Quality Technician to join our team at QPS Employment Group. As a Quality Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our clients' products meet the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform statistical process control and capability studies to ensure customer specifications are met.
  • Create and maintain data records to track quality control metrics.
  • Conduct calibration and maintenance of measuring equipment to ensure accuracy.
  • Inspect and test products to identify non-conforming results and report to manufacturing and other relevant teams.
  • Drive calibration program and perform hourly check pin maintenance to ensure quality control.
  • Receive inspection inserts and complete 2-hour inspections to verify product quality.
  • Document and maintain records of findings to track quality control metrics.
  • Retain and check raw material color chips to ensure quality control.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma minimum; undergraduate degree preferred.
  • At least five years of related experience in calibration, measuring tolerances, and ISO.
  • Working knowledge of current measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, comparators, and coordinate measuring machines.
  • Working knowledge of statistical process control and basic math skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs and multitask oriented.
