POSITION LEVELS
This engineering position is available at either the Mid-level or Senior Engineer tier. Please refer to the minimum qualifications outlined below for each level.
Mid-Level - $88,200 - $108,000
Senior Level - $115,200 - $141,000
Compensation ranges are annual and based on experience, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package that includes bonuses and a 401(k) plan.
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
The role involves advanced technical and engineering problem-solving to support nuclear plant operations. The individual will be responsible for making technical decisions and must possess extensive knowledge in their functional discipline, along with a thorough understanding of relevant industry codes and regulations.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Deliver in-depth technical expertise to develop, manage, and execute engineering analyses, activities, and programs.
- Provide technical guidance and consultation through direct involvement to identify and resolve equipment and system issues.
- Oversee the complete management of engineering tasks.
- Execute engineering assignments as directed by supervision, applying engineering principles effectively.
- Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of work, maintaining proper configuration management and adherence to standard design criteria, practices, procedures, and codes in the preparation of plans and specifications.
- Conduct independent research, reviews, studies, and analyses to support technical projects and initiatives.
- Recommend equipment, innovative concepts, and techniques to enhance performance, simplify construction, reduce costs, rectify design or material flaws, or comply with evolving codes or regulations.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Mid-Level E02 Engineer: B.S. in Engineering with 2+ years of nuclear or related engineering experience.
- Senior E03 Engineer: B.S. in Engineering or Licensed Professional Engineer with 5+ years of engineering experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Professional Engineer Registration.
- Advanced technical degree or relevant coursework.
