Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Robotic Dairy Equipment Technician to join our team at The Scharine Group Inc. This role involves performing troubleshooting and maintenance work on dairy equipment and related machinery.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks on dairy equipment, including cleaning, inspecting, and repairing machinery.
  2. Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues with dairy equipment, utilizing technical knowledge and manufacturer support as needed.
  3. Repair and Installation: Dismantle and reassemble equipment, install new or repaired parts, and test equipment to ensure proper functionality.
  4. Scheduled Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance tasks to maximize equipment efficiency and recommend improvements to customers.
  5. Inventory Management: Manage repair parts inventory, communicate purchase requirements, and maintain an organized inventory of commonly used parts.
  6. Travel and On-Call: Travel to customer sites as needed and remain on-call for emergency service.
  7. Administrative Tasks: Complete job sheets, timesheets, and related paperwork accurately and timely, and provide support to customers and colleagues.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma required, with two years of technical school training or related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in PLC troubleshooting, facilities maintenance, refrigeration systems, electrical troubleshooting, and PLC wiring.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, and lift 50 lbs. freely or more with assistance.
Salary Information

$20 - $30 / hr
