Overview
Expected compensation for this role is $59.00/hour, with adjustments based on licensure duration. This position also offers a shift differential of $4.00/hr and a weekend differential of $3.25/hr.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Clinical Operations Supervisor plays a crucial role in managing the activities of team members involved in delivering both direct and indirect nursing care services to patients during assigned shifts.

This role requires accountability for maintaining safe, high-quality patient care, enhancing the patient and family experience, and providing effective leadership that aligns with the organization's goals.

The supervisor will establish work priorities, collaborate with Charge Nurses and Department Leaders to ensure optimal staffing levels, and act as a resource for all facility team members in resolving operational and patient care challenges.


Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required.

Licenses/Certifications:
Registered Nurse (RN) license is mandatory. Professional national leadership certification or as specified by the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) within one year of hire. BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association are required, along with any additional certifications as needed per the operating unit, such as PALS, TNCC, NRP, and NIMS.

Experience:
A minimum of three years of experience in an acute care environment is essential.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Other requirements/information:
Demonstrated leadership capabilities are essential.

Strong interpersonal skills are necessary to effectively guide and direct the work of other staff members and to interact proficiently with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

Knowledge of all emergency protocols, including EMR downtime procedures and disaster response plans, is crucial. Familiarity with policies and procedures and the ability to access them as required is expected. Knowledge of available educational and supportive resources and the ability to locate appropriate materials is also important.
