Job Description:
We seek a highly skilled structural engineer to join our team in Southern California. As a key member of our Structures Division, you will work on a wide range of projects, including seismic retrofitting, repair and rehabilitation of existing buildings, investigation and performance evaluation, adaptive re-use of existing structures, new design, and more.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Design new structures and assess, investigate, evaluate, and analyze existing structures.
  • Execute and manage development of structural construction documents and calculation packages.
  • Plan and conduct site investigations to document existing conditions.
  • Execute the construction administration phase of projects, including submittal review, response to requests for information, and attend site meetings.

Requirements:
  • Minimum of 9 years of experience in structural analysis and design of concrete, steel, masonry, and wood-frame structures.
  • MS in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • Professional Engineering License in California.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to actively work in a team environment.
  • Proficient in writing and editing of project specifications, technical reports, field reports, project correspondence, and proposals.
