In today's information-rich environment, the role of an intelligence analyst is crucial for extracting and interpreting valuable data to provide clients with informed insights. As an Open-Source Intelligence Analyst, you will leverage your analytical expertise and meticulous attention to detail to produce actionable intelligence that meets client needs.
Your Responsibilities:
- Utilize your extensive experience in open-source intelligence to assist clients in understanding their operational objectives.
- Employ various data collection platforms to identify new information sources, formulate effective queries, and synthesize data from multiple origins.
- Validate and assess information while applying established tradecraft to develop comprehensive assessments.
- Conduct thorough analysis of publicly available information from both domestic and international sources to identify significant trends and relationships that fulfill defense intelligence requirements.
- Generate written intelligence reports adhering to established IC Tradecraft Standards, utilizing a diverse array of open-source tools and resources.
- Deliver analytical briefings to senior defense leaders to support priority intelligence and operational needs.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in open-source intelligence analysis and familiarity with intelligence systems.
- Proven ability to design and implement analytic production methodologies and techniques.
- Experience in threat network analysis and understanding of both state and non-state threat groups.
- Knowledge of military planning and exercises related to intelligence support.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to lead studies and analyze data to provide actionable recommendations.
- Ability to offer strategic guidance and technical expertise to defense planners and policymakers.
- Active TS/SCI clearance and willingness to undergo a polygraph examination.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
Security Clearance:
Selected candidates will undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is mandatory.
