Job Summary

At Apple, we're looking for a skilled Operations Program Manager to join our team. As an Operations Program Manager, you will be responsible for launching products on time, with high quality and maximum customer availability. This role is pivotal to the dynamic development and launch of Apple's products.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Operations team in planning and driving development builds and new product ramps
- Drive ramp readiness with Engineering, Operations and OEM teams
- Plan Capacity and lead factory Capital Equipment budgeting
- Handle module readiness to ensure part availability, quality and cost
- Communicate requirements and schedules to facilitate technical readiness with supply chain teams
- Influence product manufacturability, testability, and supply chain responsiveness in pursuit of low cost and flexibility while stewarding quality
- Lead all communications, upward and downward through the organization
- Raising key issues and options for resolution with executive teams
- Lead program readiness reviews that include overall program status of design/technical development and operations. Drive closure on design/technical and operations issues
- Lead operations development builds on-site at suppliers. Responsible for successful mass production ramp up

Requirements

- Bachelors/Masters in Engineering
- Ability to travel up to 20%
- 3+ years of experience in high volume manufacturing, process engineering, or product development

Preferred Qualifications

- Proactive, Results oriented, and high attention to detail while running several work streams
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to present complicated information in simple terms across organization
- Use data driven decisions and be willing to take action
- Technical expertise and prior OEM management experience
- MBA

Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $48.90 and $73.76/hr, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
