The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of ServiceNow and a robust background in managing both hardware and software assets.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversee the administration of hardware assets, ensuring accurate tracking of IT assets, their respective locations, and ownership.
- Manage the life-cycle of hardware assets and provide recommendations for acquisitions based on established criteria.
- Monitor hardware inventory and service locations utilizing tools such as Absolute and ServiceNow Discovery.
- Administer software licenses, track renewals, and engage in licensing audits.
- Identify opportunities for process enhancements and implement best practices in asset management.
Required Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related discipline is preferred.
- 5-6 years of experience in IT Asset Coordination.
- Expertise in ServiceNow, asset management, and reporting capabilities.
- Strong understanding of hardware and software terminology.
Essential Skills:
- Ability to formulate queries to pinpoint specific hardware and software assets.
- Exceptional organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Strong capabilities in documentation and process development.
- Certifications such as ITIL Foundation, ServiceNow, or IAITAM are advantageous.
