About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive projects forward throughout design and construction phases, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Design and develop mechanical and plumbing systems for data centers, meeting industry standards and client requirements.
  • Oversee the production of all mechanical designs, systems, and drawings, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross-discipline design teams, owners, and contractors to develop drawings and specifications.
  • Coordinate with external vendors, internal design teams, and manufacturers to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Select and schedule major equipment, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of Professional Mechanical Engineering design experience designing mechanical systems for data centers or other mission-critical projects.
  • Valid Mechanical P.E. license and Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (considering Engineering in Training certification).
  • Experience working independently, managing priorities, and providing mentorship to junior staff.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems and energy codes.
  • Ability to think strategically and demonstrate flexibility to achieve long-range objectives.
  • Self-motivated, comfortable with ambiguity, and motivated to work as a team.
  • Top-notch organization, attention to detail, and excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Office, AutoCAD, BlueBeam, BIM, and Revit.
