About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining mobile applications for internal use, primarily focusing on Android applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain existing Android applications
  • Develop new Android applications
  • Learn from legacy Windows Mobile applications where necessary
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and iteratively develop applications
Requirements:
  • B.S. degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, or another related Engineering or Science discipline or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant software development experience
  • 1+ years of mobile development experience
  • Technical Skills:
    • Mobile Development
    • Proficiency in at least one mobile development framework that may be used for Android application development
    • Must be willing to work on existing applications built with the Xamarin Forms and.NET Maui frameworks
    • Must have experience working with Web / REST APIs
    • Databases / SQL
    • Must have a working understanding of relational databases
    • Must be able to design table schemas
    • Must be comfortable writing SQL queries
    • Experience with SQL Server or PostgreSQL is a plus
    • Version Control
    • Must be proficient with Git and comfortable with typical Git workflows
    • Should have prior experience with collaboration tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, or Trello
