About the Role

Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation is seeking a highly skilled NDT Technician to join our team in Savannah, GA. As a key member of our Enterprise Quality organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring part integrity and compliance to engineering type design by utilizing non-destructive methods (UT, ET, MT, PT, and RT) to test our aircraft and parts during production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform non-destructive tests (NDT) and determine product acceptability to the authorized limits of the NDT level obtained in accordance with prescribed methods and procedures.
  • Record, organize, and evaluate test results and enter results into applicable documents.
  • Ensure compliance to all radiation safety rules and regulations and provide protection to self and others during testing.
  • Maintain equipment and assure calibration for tests to be performed.
  • Maintain inventory control of area equipment.
Requirements
  • Certified in one NAS 410 NDT method required.
  • NDT certification in Ultrasonics (UT) and/or Eddy Current (ET) preferred.
  • Ability to read blueprints and Catia drawings.
  • Microsoft Office programs, to include Excel, Power Point, and Access.
  • Solumina.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in blueprint reading and interpretation.
  • Must be able to read a scale and perform basic shop math.
  • Read and comprehend basic documents and instructions.
  • Must have essential personal and communication skills.
  • Must demonstrate good housekeeping and safety practices.
  • Proficiency in current computer-based software.
