Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Intermediate Care

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Bryan, Texas. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.

Job Summary:

As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and evaluating patient responses to care. You will also educate patients and families on health management and provide emotional support to promote a positive patient experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify health issues and develop effective care plans
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patient responses
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care and achieve optimal outcomes
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Current and valid nursing license
  • BLS certification or obtain within 30 days of hire
  • Experience in intermediate care or telemetry nursing preferred
