Diagnostic Imaging Specialist Opportunity

Avera Creighton Hospital is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team as a Vascular Ultrasound Technician. This role involves performing general and vascular ultrasound exams in various settings, including inpatient and outpatient facilities.


About the Role

This position requires an associate degree in Sonography and relevant certifications, with preference given to those with 1-2 years of experience. The Diagnostic Imaging Specialist will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality patient care.


Responsibilities
  • Perform general and vascular ultrasound exams in accordance with established protocols.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information, exam results, and other relevant data.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.

Requirements
  • Associate degree in Sonography or equivalent certification.
  • ARDMS (American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) Registered and/or Registered Vascular Technology (RVT).
  • Basic Life Support certification within six months of hire.

Benefits

Avera Creighton Hospital offers a competitive salary range of $30.25-$45.75 per hour, dependent on experience.
