Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team at Goodyear. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on our tire manufacturing equipment. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on tire manufacturing equipment, including troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues.
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems.
- Interpret blueprints, sketches, and maintenance manuals to ensure accurate and efficient repairs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
- Ensure all work is performed in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to Goodyear's safety policies and procedures.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or journeyman's card preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in industrial maintenance or a related field.
- Strong technical skills, including knowledge of electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
