Key Responsibilities of the CAD Technician:

  • Collaborate with a team to support site civil design for various development and redevelopment initiatives.
  • Employ computer-aided design (CAD) methodologies in Civil3D to generate comprehensive civil engineering drawings related to site grading, drainage, paving, and utility systems (including stormwater, potable and fire water, and sanitary sewer) for diverse project types such as commercial, industrial, retail, hospitality, mixed-use, and residential developments.
  • Uphold CAD standards and protocols within the firm while providing assistance to fellow team members.
  • Engage with regulatory agencies to ascertain plan submission criteria.
  • Facilitate the processing of civil engineering plans with regulatory bodies for review and approval.

Qualifications for the CAD Technician Role:

Ideal candidates will possess:

  • An Associate's Degree in civil engineering or completion of a relevant technical program.
  • A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil3D software.
  • Experience with Deltek Vision is advantageous.
