The Y of Central Maryland is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Pre-Lifeguard Associate. This role is responsible for assisting with the safety, cleanliness, and operation of our swimming pool during operating hours.

• Pool Safety and Maintenance: Assist in maintaining a safe and clean pool environment, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
• Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to members and guests, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
• Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other associates to achieve common goals and objectives, promoting a positive and inclusive team culture.
• Communication: Effectively communicate with members, guests, and colleagues, both verbally and in writing, to ensure seamless operations and resolve any issues that may arise.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent: Required
• Swim Safety Certification: Must be willing to obtain certification within a specified timeframe
