Role Responsibilities
The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) is responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-focused care and managing all unit functions during assigned shifts. Collaborating with the management team, the CNC will:
- Facilitate admission and discharge processes to ensure smooth patient flow.
- Engage in ongoing evaluation of patient care quality in collaboration with the management team.
- Foster a collaborative environment to enhance team performance and patient outcomes.
- Promote a patient-first philosophy and address service recovery as needed.
- Implement nursing strategies to improve staff engagement and operational efficiency.
- Participate in the recruitment, training, and development of nursing staff.
- Oversee staff scheduling and manage labor resources effectively.
- Assist in inventory management and supply procurement.
Qualifications Required
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment.
- Current Registered Nurse license.
- Associate Degree in Nursing.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in medical/surgical nursing; charge nurse experience is preferred.
