Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Patient Care Leader. This role will provide nursing care to patients within the framework of the Nurse Practice Act, ANA Code for Nurses, and Scope & Standards of Practice. The successful candidate will be responsible for delegating, directing, and assisting licensed and ancillary team members to ensure high-quality patient outcomes. They will also exhibit sensitivity to cultural, ethnic, and religious diversity in all interactions and maintain involvement in activities aimed toward achieving unit and departmental strategic goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality patient care using the nursing process within the framework of established standards and guidelines.
Delegate, direct, and assist licensed and ancillary team members to ensure effective delivery of patient care services.
Assume accountability for quality patient outcomes and take responsibility for ensuring that all aspects of patient care meet established standards and guidelines.
Maintain awareness of and adhere to regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and company policies and procedures related to patient care.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless delivery of patient care services.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of processes and protocols to enhance patient care and safety.
