Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Bus Technician to join our team at Wilson County School System.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with school buses and medium/heavy trucks.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including air brake inspections and diesel engine repairs.
  • Ensure all vehicles are in compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
  • Collaborate with other technicians to achieve team goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least 3 years of experience in school bus or medium/heavy truck maintenance, including air brakes and diesel engines.
  • Ability to obtain a CDL, Class B with passenger endorsement.
  • Knowledge of Cummins or Cat Mid-Range engine diagnostics and repair.
  • ASE Master Certification preferred.
