Key Responsibilities- Assess Patient Status: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' health and well-being to identify potential risks and take proactive measures to mitigate them.
- Monitor Anesthesia: Closely monitor patients undergoing local anesthesia, adhering to established policies and procedures to ensure their safety and comfort.
- Document Patient Care: Accurately document patient care, treatment processes, and responses in the electronic medical record, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
- Manage Supplies and Equipment: Ensure that all necessary supplies, instruments, and equipment are available and functioning properly for surgical procedures, adhering to physician preference cards and protocols.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Team: Work closely with the healthcare team to provide optimal patient care, communicating effectively and responding to emergencies as needed.
- Nevada Nursing License: Possess an active and unrestricted Nevada Nursing License or be eligible to obtain one.
- Certifications: Hold Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Experience: Possess at least one year of nursing experience or one year of operating room experience (orderly, surgical technologist, etc.).
- Operating Room Circulator Experience: Possess at least one year of experience as an Operating Room Circulator RN.
Reno Orthopedic Center offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical insurance, paid time off, and more. This full-time position is eligible for benefits and works a 40-hour per week schedule.
