Job Title: Assistant/Associate Professor of Microbiology

New York Institute of Technology's College of Osteopathic Medicine is seeking a highly qualified individual to join our faculty as an Assistant/Associate Professor of Microbiology. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the education and research of our students in the field of microbiology.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach didactic lectures to first and second year medical students in a system-based curriculum.
  • Facilitate small-group learning sessions in first and second academic years.
  • Mentor medical students throughout their medical school training.
  • Serve on committees to fulfill institutional and departmental needs.
  • Conduct bench or scholarly research and guide students in scholarly activity.
Qualifications:
  • PhD with expertise in microbiology/immunology is preferred.
  • Post-doctoral training and/or teaching experience preferred.

The annual base salary range for this position is USD $100,000.00/Yr. to USD $130,000.00/Yr.
