Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to infant through geriatric patient populations, addressing their psychosocial, physical, and general needs.
- Assist with the maintenance of surgical equipment and pain management inventory, ensuring a safe and efficient operating environment.
- Participate in performance improvement activities, contributing to the development of new and better ways of delivering clinical care.
- Assess the operating room/procedure room for equipment functioning and readiness, obtaining supplies for individual cases and ensuring the needs of the surgical team are met.
- Take appropriate actions and document in response to manifested anxiety or distress, prioritizing patient well-being and safety.
- Request Social Services/Pastoral Care as needed, providing comprehensive support to patients and their families.
- At least one year of experience in the Operating Room.
- Ability to formulate an individualized plan of care, evaluate its effectiveness, and make adjustments as needed.
