H2H Blinds is seeking a dedicated Window Treatment Specialist to become a part of our team. In this position, you will be responsible for executing installations of window treatments with exceptional quality and adherence to company standards. Our product range includes shades, shutters, mini blinds, and faux wood blinds.

Your Responsibilities
  • Evaluating communities where installations are performed and documenting construction phases while taking precise window measurements according to company guidelines.
  • Installing window treatments in multi-family and commercial settings, which may involve lifting and transporting materials up stairs.
  • Accurately documenting window measurements for company records and preparing for upcoming jobs; submitting daily reports to the Scheduling Coordinator.
  • Carrying out standard installation procedures, including securing brackets and hardware, leveling, and ensuring proper functionality of treatments for various window and door types.
Qualifications
  • A high school diploma or G.E.D. is required.
  • At least two years of experience in new home construction or installation services.
  • Experience with window treatment installations, including blinds, roller shades, and plantation shutters, is advantageous.
  • OSHA 30 certification is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Strong knowledge of window types, installation terminology, and mounting techniques.
  • Familiarity with light carpentry terms and practices, including cutting window blinds and making precise measurements.
  • Ability to operate basic carpentry tools (miter saw) and hand tools for custom modifications; necessary tools will be provided.
  • Capability to follow a daily schedule, work independently or collaboratively, and communicate effectively with team members.
  • Understanding of OSHA Health and Safety regulations, including job site safety and proper tool usage.
  • Willingness to perform additional material transport and delivery tasks as needed.
  • Overnight travel may be required, but it will be infrequent.
  • A cellular phone with camera and email capabilities is necessary.
Physical Demands
  • This role involves standing and moving for extended periods, with potential bending, squatting, climbing, and reaching.
  • Ability to lift and carry weights up to 50 pounds, including navigating ladders.
  • Work may take place in active construction environments, exposing you to varying weather conditions.
Travel Requirements
  • Traveling to job sites may involve extended driving times.
  • Vehicles are equipped with GPS monitoring for tracking purposes.
