Job Summary:

ENGINEERING SUPPORT PERSONNEL INC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead System Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our cybersecurity team, you will be responsible for overseeing the configuration management system for cyber maintenance, planning and conducting continuous monitoring and associated analysis to maintain the cybersecurity posture of training system environments, networks and enclaves, and ensuring accurate, complete and timely reporting of scan results with associated artifacts using applicable Continuous Monitoring and Risk Scoring (CMRS) tools/platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee configuration management system for cyber maintenance
  • Plan and conduct continuous monitoring and associated analysis to maintain the cybersecurity posture of training system environments, networks and enclaves
  • Ensure accurate, complete and timely reporting of scan results with associated artifacts using applicable Continuous Monitoring and Risk Scoring (CMRS) tools/platforms
  • Support the installation of new or modified hardware, operating systems, and software applications ensuring integration with cybersecurity security requirements for the training systems
  • Support, monitor, test and troubleshoot hardware and software cybersecurity problems;
  • Develop and conduct initial, annual and refresher cybersecurity training for subordinate cybersecurity workforce personnel

Requirements:

  • Minimum seven (7) years of cybersecurity experience in secure network and system analysis, procedure/test generation, test execution and implementation of computer/network security mechanisms
  • Minimum of DOD Approved Baseline Certification as Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level III in accordance with DOD M (i.e. CISSP or equivalent)
  • Expert knowledge in all Information Assurance Technician (IAT) I and II functions
  • Extensive operational knowledge of vulnerability management tools such as Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS), Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP) and Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG)
  • Extensive knowledge of cybersecurity methods, principles and governance to ensure the secure integration, operation and maintenance of all complex training system computing, networking and enclave environments
  • Working knowledge of cybersecurity instructions and practices (e.g., DoDI M series– Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program; CJCSM series- Defense-In-Depth: Information Assurance (IA) and Computer Network Defense (CND); DoD M; and DoDI Cybersecurity)
  • Ability to work independently to solve complex cybersecurity problems
  • Ability to supervise and direct the work of subordinate cybersecurity workforce (CSWF) personnel
