Position Overview

Compensation: The hourly wage can reach up to $20, based on your level of expertise. Additionally, a piece rate is available.

As an Insulation Technician, your primary responsibility will be to install insulation materials, such as fiberglass or rock wool batts, in various structures. Each day will present unique challenges, but the core tasks will remain consistent.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transporting and documenting materials for installation
  • Setting up scaffolding or ladders to reach necessary heights
  • Measuring and cutting insulation materials to fit into walls, ceilings, attics, or crawlspaces
  • Applying insulation using methods such as stapling, gluing, wiring, nailing, or operating machinery for loose-fill or foamed insulation
  • Driving a company vehicle when required, adhering to all driving regulations and maintaining the vehicle and tools
  • Following safety protocols on job sites and being aware of the location of Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) in your vehicle
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and dependable transportation
  • Experience in installation is advantageous
  • Familiarity with standard hand tools
  • Ability to work in confined spaces, including attics and crawlspaces
  • Capability to lift at least 50 pounds
  • Comfortable climbing ladders and scaffolding
  • Flexibility to bend, twist, and maneuver at the shoulders, waist, and knees
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods
