Job Summary

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a skilled MRI Imaging Specialist to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for operating MRI scanners and assisting in the diagnosis of disease and injury.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the safety of patients, staff, and visitors by following established protocols and guidelines.
  • Position patients and coils on the MRI table, ensuring accurate and efficient scanning.
  • Inject contrast media as required, following established procedures and protocols.
  • Set technical parameters, operate MRI scanners, and observe image data on computer monitors during scans.
  • Recognize and respond to life-threatening situations, prioritizing patient safety and well-being.
  • Comply with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as accepted professional guidelines and standards.
  • Deliver high-quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional and compassionate manner.
  • Maintain a safe and efficient work environment, promoting a culture of excellence and patient-centered care.
Requirements
  • Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
  • Valid state radiology registration, as required by state law.
  • Eighteen months of MRI Tech experience, preferably in a critical care setting.
  • Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.
