Position Overview:

Join one of the leading diagnostic imaging organizations as an MRI Technologist. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to patient care through advanced imaging techniques.

Position Type: Direct Hire / Permanent

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 02:00 AM - 10:00 PM

Location: Nutley, NJ

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct high-quality MRI examinations on patients.

Core Duties:
  • Ensure patient safety by following established protocols and company policies.
  • Administer contrast agents safely and effectively as required.
  • Utilize technical parameters such as TR, TE, flip angle, slice thickness, and field of view to produce optimal imaging results.
  • Support patients throughout the imaging process by providing clear explanations and addressing their concerns.
  • Respond to inquiries from physicians regarding patient imaging needs.
  • Perform contrast administration on a designated schedule, with training provided for IV certification if needed.
  • Operate advanced MRI equipment, including Siemens 3 Tesla and Toshiba 1.5 machines.

Qualifications:
  • ARRT(R)(MR) or ARMRIT certification required.
  • State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology, if applicable.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Preferred: Minimum of one year of experience in diagnostic imaging.

Skills Required:
  • Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, specifically Epic and McKesson.
