Job Summary

The Lee County Tax Collector is seeking a Service Delivery Associate to provide a full range of service delivery activities that support the Customer Service team and engage our customers.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Provides guidance to customers on tax collector services and procedures;
  2. Processes payments in person, by drop off, or by mail;
  3. Reviews and retains various forms, titles, documents, payments, and applications;
  4. Posts payments to proper accounts;
  5. Performs cashiering functions, verifies funds accuracy, and balances daily revenues with end-of-day totals;
  6. Responds to customer requests or concerns, researches problems, and initiates problem resolution;
  7. Participates in driver license services, including fingerprinting, vision, oral, and driving tests;
  8. Inspects applicant vehicle VIN numbers and records odometer readings;
  9. Maintains and updates customer records;
  10. Collaborates with management team and key stakeholders as needed.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED; supplemented by experience in customer service or call center and cash handling;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and valid Florida driver's license required;
  • Bachelor's degree in business management or related field and ability to speak a second language preferred.
Estimated Salary

$20.21 per hour, based on location and industry standards.
