Job Summary

Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to provide occupational therapy services to children aged 3-5 years old in a full-time, one-month contract position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Comprehensive Assessments: Evaluate students' fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities to identify areas of need.
  • Develop Individualized Treatment Plans: Create tailored plans to address areas of need and promote independence in preschool-aged children.
  • Provide Direct Occupational Therapy Services: Deliver occupational therapy services in individual and group settings to support students' development and participation in classroom activities.
  • Collaborate with Educational Team: Work with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to support students' development and participation in classroom activities.
  • Monitor Progress and Adjust Intervention Strategies: Regularly monitor progress and adjust intervention strategies as needed to meet students' goals.
Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy: Possess a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Missouri State Licensure or Eligibility: Hold Missouri state licensure or be eligible for licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Experience Working with Preschool-Aged Children: Preferably have experience working with preschool-aged children in a special education setting.
  • Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with the educational team.
  • Ability to Work Effectively as Part of a Multidisciplinary Team: Demonstrate the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team to support students' development and participation in classroom activities.
